There are several iPhone apps that are extremely useful during conference season. Apart from Facebook, Foursquare, Gowalla, TwitPic Uploader, WordPress there are other apps that have functional purposes. Priceline Hotel Negotiator lists hotel deals within a radius of one’s current location, while Free Wifi Finder helps locate local wifi zones. Robot Vision helps locate local attractions and places like ATM’s and gas stations.
BeamMe pro lets you e-mail, text, or tweet all of your contact information to someone instantly. Ustream Live Broadcaster allows streaming of live video from your iPhone. Brizzly is for those with multiple twitter accounts. Through Glympse, you can share your ongoing location. While all these apps are free, only Robot Vision is charged per request.
