Rumors of the iPhone OS 4.0 biggest feature of multitasking have surfaced again. The AppleInsider has reported that the iPhone will support multitasking, although the report does not say much on how it will be put into operation. The report also does not offer details on how the technology will optimize battery life and conserve resources.
Multitasking allows the user to open multiple applications at the same time. This would be delivered along with Mac OS X operating system, which uses interface technology.Â The iPhone 4.0 software is still under development and no specifics have been given.
