Within 24 hours of its launch, Digg’s iPhone App became the Number 1 app in the “news” category in many countries of the world, including the US.
The app allows for browsing and searching of popular, upcoming and recent stories across topics, as well as the ability to Digg and bury stories from within the app. Each story also has options for navigating comments and related stories. There are also options to save stories for later viewing, an in-app browser, and a “preview” feature for each story. Users can also expect an Android app soon, along with updates to its apps across mobile platforms.
