Apple made an exciting announcement at the WWDC about the new iOS 4, the iPhone’s new operating system. The OS will be released with the new iPhone 4 next month, and will also be available as a free software update for the earlier versions of the device, apart from the iPad, and second and third generation iPod Touch with 32GB or 64GB storage.
Some of the new features include multitasking, advertising and file management, app gifting, wireless keyboard support. A much upgrade for iOS 4 is the new app organization functionality. Users can organize their iPhone apps into separate folders for easy access. iOS 4 will allow for managing up to 2160 applications on one device.
