Web Spiders recently concluded working on a project for a prestigious school of Kolkata, West Bengal in India. The project primarily involved upgrading the existing website of the institution by incorporating a CMS based solution in Joomla Open Source using the LAMP environment.
Web Spiders provided a robust CMS-based solution by which an authenticated user can configure and modify the contents that are visible on the public site. The application displays the information uploaded from the admin module.
The site is used by the parents, students, teachers and people who want information regarding the institution or wish to download application forms and other literature. The site also enlists available job vacancies for different departments of the school.
The new enhanced system allowed the admin to upload different forms which can be downloaded by users as and when necessary, along with photographs and videos related to various events.
This project is a major milestone in the long history of Web Spiders in helping their diverse clientele with customized solutions in CMS.
