Fidelity Investments have released a new, free iPhone app which would allow brokerage customers to execute share trades and manage their portfolios right from their iPod touch or iPhone. The company says that about half of their customers use Fidelity Mobile, the mobile trading application from their iPhones. The new application is said to have utilized the revolutionary iPhone technologies to the maximum, delivering powerful account management and trading services in an easy to use format.
The Fidelity Mobile app allows customers access to their Fidelity account and they can keep abreast with latest developments in the domestic and world markets. Comparison of multiple stock performances, interactive charting facilities, real-time quotes receipt, and commission-free trading of certain exchange-traded funds are all part of the package. Even users who are not customers of Fidelity can access stock watch lists, news feeds, market research, charting, and other functions of the application.
