Internet news blog, Mashable had launched its iPhone app last month and has now released a new version 1.2, in the App Store.
The new version includes changes like Horizontal Tilt where the iPhone can be turned horizontally for a better reading experience, an in-app mechanism to access the app settings, and adding more twitter clients to the Twitter list, which is especially useful while ‘sharing’ articles. It also ensures that users get speedy updates, along with faster loading of stories with push notification support and addition of comments. Those who already have the app will receive a notification about an available update. The earlier version had exceeded 70,000 downloads.
