The iPhone can now be purchased without an ID proof or an AT&T contract. According to a leaked document by Apple, only one device per day and ten devices in a lifetime can be bought at full price.
The prices are $499 for the iPhone 8GB, $599 for the iPhone 16GB and $699 for the iPhone 32GB. The phones will still be locked to AT&T, which means that only an AT&T SIM can be used with it. Customers do not need to have an active AT&T account for purchasing the iPhone. The account is used for verification purposes.
