Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Event Goes Green with event2mobile

The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore, is our newest client to say no to paper and go totally green with their events.

This year, they have done away with printed conference handouts altogether, and instead, will be relying on their event mobile app, which has been built using the event2mobile framework built by Web Spiders, for the delegates to their upcoming events – the 16th Infocomm Commerce Conference, the 15th Annual SMEs Conference and the SME Expo 2013, to be held during 14-15 August 2013 at Suntec, Singapore. The new application (for both iOS and Android) works as a bilingual, portable event guide for the three events. It supports English and Chinese languages, offering delegates the option to switch to their preferred language on the fly. With the app, attendees get to discover how they can be more productive during an event without having to carry around sheafs of printouts.

They will be able to quickly get details on conference, sponsors, exhibitors and speakers on their mobile devices as well as take surveys. Carrying cumbersome event guides is a thing of the past, as this interactive, feature-rich app does much more than traditional printed brochures.

Here’s what users get with the app:

  • Sessions arranged chronologically on the “Agenda” screen; can be changed as per user preference
  • Users can participate in surveys, rate and bookmark sessions
  • View Event highlights and details
  • View Exhibitor list arranged alphabetically; can be further filtered by Industry or Sponsors
  • Get Exhibitor details alongwith the floor plan by tapping on a booth number
  • Zoom-in on the floor plan for a detailed view
  • Access all the promotions with their relevant details
  • Post to social networking sites with the “Social” option
  • View the Speaker list in alphabetical order; tapping on a speaker shows his/her details and session list of that speaker

The host of productivity tools make the entire process of event planning and management a lot less cumbersome as well as give event companies enhanced marketing, advertising and branding opportunities.
