Enterprise Content Management

In the last fortnight Web Spiders finished not one, but two different web engineering projects. One was to develop and deploy an entire series of web enhancements for one of the most reputed educational institutions in Singapore, and the other was to help an India-based digital marketing giant enhance its social media presence.

First let’s discuss how we helped Republic Polytechnic, a famed learning center in Singapore.

Republic Polytechnic wanted to improve its digital media presence and thus outsourced the integration and implementation of a series of web enhancements. We created and deployed these enhancements using Republic Polytechnic’s existing Ektron Content Management System (CMS). We also integrated the series of widgets to ensure Republic Polytechnic’s webmasters are able to exercise complete and efficient control over these enhancements, while students are able to access information easily. We also developed exclusive, custom widgets such as the ‘Faceted Navigation’ widget and ‘Popular Related Content’ to ensure that Republic Polytechnic’s website is way superior than most of its counterparts.

Besides providing web enhancement solutions to Republic Polytechnic, we also developed a social media advertising website for Softz Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a popular digital marketing firm in India.

Softz Solutions wanted us to conceive and develop a unique social media advertising website for it to pump up its online promotions via social networks. Thus we conceived, developed, and launched ‘Social Genie’, a website where anyone with a valid social media account can register, share links, and earn money.

Social Genie was built using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP & MySql) technology, while open source CMS (Content Management System) Drupal was used to manage and update the site’s content.

Both our clients expressed satisfaction with the services they got from us, and we are proud to help them and provide them with just what they were looking for!
