There are free versions of many kinds of software including blogging platforms, email clients, and even software to start off a website. Web development companies like WordPress have released versions that are free for anybody to use. Choosing Open Source software while developing a website can be more beneficial, as you can get a customized version for a much lesser price. It is better to check if an option of Open Source software is available in the market, before you purchase the original software.
